Natalie Smith-Low is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor who received her bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin and her master's degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She began her clinical career working with children, adolescents, and families in a hospital setting, later advancing to establish and develop an adolescent psychiatric intensive outpatient program for a major hospital system in Texas. Most recently, she has been working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team at Uptown Physicians Group in Dallas, where, as the therapist on staff, she provides counseling to patients presenting with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, gender dysphoria, and generalized stress.

Natalie specializes in working with all issues related to the LGBTQIA+ experience, including work with individuals, couples, parents, adolescents, those seeking guidance in gender transition, and allies. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by gentleness, patience, and affirmation, creating a space that is validating, approachable, and collaborative. Clients describe her as easy to talk to with "excellent comedic timing" when appropriate, open-minded, and goal oriented. In her practice, she utilizes CBT, DBT, and ACT therapeutic modalities.

With a strong belief that recovery looks different for everyone due to varying strengths and values, Natalie sees her role not as directing clients but as assisting them in discovering, embodying, and utilizing their personal strengths to live authentically. Her ultimate goal is to empower clients to take ownership of their own healing journey and become the most authentic versions of themselves.
